Alexa Cohen is Maternal Fetal Medicine attending at University of Miami, where she also serves as co-director of labor and delivery. She did her Ob/Gyn fellowship and residency at Montefiore Medical Center / Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, where she served as administrative chief resident. She received a B.S. degree from University of Michigan and a M.D. from Sackler School of Medicine - NY/State American Program in Tel Aviv, Israel. Her research and clinical interests include placenta accreta spectrum, cesarean scar pregnancies, postpartum hemorrhage and obstetric emergencies. She is very excited to be at SMFM again this year.
