Dr. Joanne Quiñones has been part of the Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) division at Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) in Allentown, Pennsylvania USA since 2005 and is one of 10 MFM physicians in the network. Her focus of clinical interest is maternal cardiac disease, and she has been co-director of the Cardio-Obstetrics program at LVHN since 2010. She was named Vice Chair of Research for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2019. She is also the program director for the MFM fellowship at LVHN.
She completed residency training in Obstetrics & Gynecology (2002) and a subspecialty fellowship in MFM (2005) at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. During her fellowship, she received a Reproductive Epidemiology Training Fellowship Grant from the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development to support her pursuit of a Master of Science in Clinical Epidemiology.
She is currently involved in SMFM’s Patient education committee and is chair of the Literature Alert Committee for the Foundation for SMFM.
