Dr. Jane Martin is a Maternal Fetal Medicine physician practicing in New Orleans, Louisiana.
She attended Colorado College for her undergraduate degree in Biology and she received her medical degree from Tulane University. Dr. Martin completed residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Ochsner Health in New Orleans, LA. She practiced as a general obstetrician in Denver and in New Orleans prior to completing fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine at Ochsner Health. Dr. Martin is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in obstetrics and gynecology and maternal fetal medicine. Her special interests include management of placenta accreta spectrum disorder, multifetal gestation, and preventing severe maternal morbidity and mortality. She sits on the Louisiana state pregnancy associated mortality review committee and the Louisiana perinatal quality collaborative. Dr. Martin also serves as an officer for Louisiana's section of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and collaborates with advocacy groups and policy makers to advocate for and protect women's health care access.
