My name is Dr. Symone McClain and I am a second-year obstetrics and gynecolgoy resident at Henry Ford Hospital. I am passionate about providing culturally competent and holsitic care to some of our most underserved populations. I currently serve as a RYSE mentor and faculty speaker through our diversity, education, and inclusion pipeline program to help educate urban high school students about various topics related to reproductive health. I have a special interest in maternal fetal medicine and exploring social determinants of health that impact some of our most high-risk pregnancies.
