Dr. Samsiya Ona is a third year Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellow at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Dr. Ona was born and raised in Togo, in West Africa, and came to the States for college. She attended Harvard Medical School before completing her residency at the Brigham and Women’s hospital/ Massachusetts General Hospital Integrated Residency program in Obsterics and Gynecology. Dr. Ona’s research interests include maternal morbidities and mortality, preterm birth, health disparities, and global health.
