Victor Olafusi is a fourth-year medical student at Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his high school education in Nigeria, West Africa, and earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Neuroscience from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI). He also obtained a Master's in Medical Science from Indiana University School of Medicine. Born and raised in Nigeria, he developed an early interest in women's health, driven by his experiences with societal perceptions of gender roles and the limited emphasis on women’s empowerment. He is particularly committed to educating and raising awareness about the importance of preventive health screenings, especially in sub-Saharan Africa.
Victor aspires to further his medical education by pursuing specialized training in obstetrics and gynecology.
