Dr. Neha Agarwal is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Division of Fetal Intervention, Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She completed her medical degree at Kathmandu Medical College Teaching Hospital and pursued her OBGYN residency at Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, India.
Dr. Agarwal’s primary research is centered on the development and validation of an ultrasound scoring system to predict and assess the severity of placenta accreta spectrum (PAS). Her research also explores innovative management strategies for cesarean scar pregnancies and addresses critical maternal health challenges, particularly in rural and underserved communities, with a focus on maternal near-miss. Dr. Agarwal’s work aims to enhance maternal care through data-driven solutions and improved clinical outcomes in high-risk pregnancies.
