Mary Gallo, MD, PhD, Maternal Fetal Medicine fellow at University of Rochester
Dr. Mary Gallo is an OB-GYN physician and current first year Maternal Fetal Medicine fellow at the University of Rochester. She is training to take care of high risk pregnancies complicated by maternal and/or fetal conditions, and manage complex maternal disease before, during, and after pregnancy.
Dr. Gallo completed her medical and graduate training at the University at Buffalo through an integrated MD/PhD program. Her graduate thesis work was through the department of Microbiology and Immunology. She completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University at Buffalo, as well.
Her clinical and research areas of interest include preterm birth, PPROM, intraamniotic infection, periviability, and infectious disease. She is deeply invested in evidence-based medicine and clinic practice guidelines.
