Boston Children's Hospital, Harvard Medical School
As a research fellow at the Fetal Care and Surgery Center (FCSC) at Boston Children’s Hospital, affiliated with Harvard University With a medical degree and a strong foundation in fetal-neonatal research, I contribute to our team’s ongoing studies on prenatal interventions for conditions such as neural tube defects (NTDs), gastroschisis, congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH), and lymphatic malformations.
Currently, my research includes a systematic reviews on NTDs existing data, where I am comparing the effectiveness and safety of various prenatal interventions. Additionally, We are conducting a comprehensive review on vaccination in pregnancy to clarify maternal and fetal outcomes associated with different vaccination protocols.
We are also investigating trends and risk factors that impact outcomes in gastroschisis, a congenital condition of particular interest to me. This work focuses on how evolving clinical practices and specific risk factors correlate with neonatal outcomes, offering valuable insights that could inform improved care strategies.
As an active member of the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine (SMFM) and with my sights set on a career in pediatric care, I am committed to advancing evidence-based practices and improving outcomes for high-risk pregnancies. Through my research, I hope to make a lasting impact on maternal-fetal medicine and contribute findings that shape future clinical guidelines.
