Alex Saucedo was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas and received his undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. Following his medical school education at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, he completed his OBGYN residency training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas and his Maternal Fetal Medicine fellowship at the University of Texas at Austin. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Maternal Fetal Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine.
He has a strong passion for caring for patients with high-risk pregnancies, surgical obstetrics and operative delivery, and academic mentoring of trainees. He strives to provide a full spectrum of equitable reproductive health care to all patient backgrounds, especially those patients in underserved communities.
