Tamar Goldwaser, MD FACOG, FACMG, is an Obstetrician-Gynecologist and Medical Geneticist in clinical practice at Maternal Fetal Medicine Associates in New York City and at Englewood Health in New Jersey. Dr. Goldwaser has over 12 years of clinical and teaching experience in the fields of Reproductive and Medical Genetics and fetal diagnosis. She earned her medical degree at Mount SInai School of Medicine in New York City. She completed her residency in Ob-Gyn at Albert EInstein College of Medicine followed by a Medical Genetics residency at Montefiore Medical Center, New York. Tamar served as the Associate Clerkship Director, Department of Ob-Gyn, for third year medical students at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Goldwaser is a member of ACOG and ACMGG (Amrican College of Medical Genetics and Genomics). Dr. Goldwaser served 2 terms on the Professional Practice and Guidelines committee of ACMGG. Her interests include carrier screening, prenatal diagnosis and equity in the deliverance of genetic services and testing.
