Sarah Boudova, MD, PhD, is currently a 3rd year Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellow at Thomas Jefferson Univeristy and will be joing the University of Illinois Chicago as an Assistant Professor of Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Director of the Perinatal Global Health Program in 2025.
She completed her Residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecolocy at Indiana University and her MD/PhD at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Her PhD thesis was on the effects of malaria during pregnancy on infant susceptibility to malaria. She has a strong interest in global health and has worked in American Samoa, Botswana, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Malawi, Uganda, Kenya and Ghana. Her research interests include immunolgy and infectious diseases as they relate to pregnancy.
