Professor Tal Biron-Shental is the chairperson of the OBGYN department at Meir Medical Center, which is affiliated with Tel Aviv University. She graduated from medical school at the Technion and completed her residency in OBGYN. She further specialized by completing a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
A full professor at Tel Aviv University, Professor Biron-Shental is an active member of the Israel Health Network 8400. She is dedicated to advancing research in obstetrics and has over 170 professional publications to her name. In addition to her research, she is committed to teaching and mentoring the next generation of medical professionals, educating both residents and medical students.
