Ntami Echeng, MD is a PGY-3 Resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University and Women and Infants Hospital of Rhode Island. She is originally from Nigeria and is interested in Maternal Fetal Medicine with a focus on hypertensive disorders of pregnancy and global health. She majored in Biomedical Sciences and Minored in Health Administration at the University of Central Florida. She went on to pursue her medical degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine and is currently completing her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Brown/WIH. She is currently a BRIGHT (Brown Residency International and Global Health Training Pathway) Fellow. She is interested in improving the global burden of hypertensive disorders of pregnancy in developing countries through education and advocacy-based interventions.
