Dr. Triebwasser is a clinical associate professor in the division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of MIchigan and medical director of the Von Voigtlander Women's Hospital Birth Center. She attended medical school at Washington University in St. Louis, and completed her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Washington University in St. Louis/Barnes-Jewish Hospital. She then completed fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Michigan. Her contributions have focused on quality and safety in perinatal care and research to improve delivery of care particularly related to induction of labor and hypertensive disorders of pregnancy. She has led quality improvement initiatives and research studies on postpartum hemorrhage, induction of labor, remote blood pressure monitoring in the postpartum period, and transitions of care after complicated pregnancy. She currently serves as faculty for the Obstetrics Initiative, a quality improvement collaborative for maternity hospitals in the state of Michigan with the goals of reducing NTSV cesarean, improving induction of labor practices, and assessing interventions to decrease severe maternal morbidity across the state.
