Mariana Espinal, MD is a current Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellow at Northwestern University. Dr. Espinal completed her medical education in the Universidad Central de Venezuela and her OBGYN residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Her research interests include labor management, preterm labor, premature prelabor rupture of membranes and gestational diabetes. Dr. Espinal is also passionate about surgical training and simulation in obstetrical procedures including amniocentesis, cerclages and complex surgery for placenta accreta spectrum.
