Sarena Hayer, MD, MA, MSc is a fourth-year resident in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). She completed medical school at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, received her BA in Economics at Barnard College, and attended the London School of Economics and SOAS, University of London for graduate school where she studied Medical Anthropology and Gender Studies. She will be starting MFM fellowship at Cedars-Sinai in 2025. Her research and clinical interests are in addiction and pregnancy, access to healthcare for patients experiencing housing insecurity, and global disparities in reproductive health outcomes.
