My name is Ayamo Oben and I am currently a practicing Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist in Houston, TX. I grew up in Cameroon and moved to the United States to start college. I graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelors of Science in Biology and a minor in Spanish. I then moved on to medical school at Duke where I graduated with my M.D. I completed my fellowship at University of Alabama, Birmingham.
I am now in my first year of practice and enjoying clinical practice. My research interests include infectious disease in pregnancy, hypertensive disease in pregnancy and global health research.
