Shakeela Faulkner is an Assistant Professor at the University of Chicago and recent graduate of the Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship program at The University of Southern California/Los Angeles General Medical Center. She completed her medical school training at the University of Chicago and went on to complete her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Boston Medical Center. Dr. Faulkner’s interests are motivated by a desire to identify and understand the presence of disparities in healthcare delivery and outcomes in order to advocate for equitable clinical practices. These interests include both clinical and basic science research as well as resident and patient education with the goal of improving care at both the population and individual level.
