My name is Kaitlin Farias, and I am a second-year medical student at the University of Connecticut with a strong passion for maternal-fetal medicine. I am honored to present research that I have contributed to as co-author as part of a collaborative effort with Dr. Roselyn Oyenuga, Dr. Andrea Shields, and Caroline Berberian at the SMFM 2025 Pregnancy Meeting. Our study focuses on breastfeeding intention, initiation, and continuation in pregnant patients with sickle cell disease.
I look forward to connecting with fellow attendees, learning from experts in the field, and contributing to the ongoing advancements in the dynamic and impactful field of maternal-fetal medicine.
