Erin Cleary, MD is a second year Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellow at The Ohio State University. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry at the University of Notre Dame before heading south to Tulane University School of Medicine. She then returned to her hometown of Cincinnati for residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at TriHealth. Before moving to Columbus for fellowship, Dr. Cleary spent two years as a faculty member at Brown University working at Women and Infant’s Hospital in Providence, RI.
From north to south, east to (mid)west, Dr. Cleary has developed broad interests in the field of obstetrics. Among these include intrapartum management of hypertensive disease, diabetes care with new technologies, and improving outcomes for pregnant patients with substance use disorder. She loves teaching all levels of learners.
Dr. Cleary enjoys spending time with her husband Ryan and their 2 children. The family has always liked cooking together, but 2020 took things to a new level. They also enjoy exploring the many parks and trails in Columbus and central Ohio.
