Sara Abuzahra, BS, is a fourth-year medical student at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW). She has a strong background in quality improvement work, having held roles at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and St. Francis Hospital & Heart Center, a community hospital on Long Island, prior to medical school. Upon matriculating at MCW, she sought out quality improvement research and mentorship from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Currently, her research interests include ameliorating prenatal and intrapartum care, reducing adverse pregnancy outcomes, and improving infant circumcision. She is hopeful and excited to continue this type of work during OBGYN residency next year!
