Katie Casper, MD is a third-year OB/GYN resident at the Univeristy of Utah. She completed her undergraduate education at the University of Washington, majoring in biology. She then attended medical school at the University of Washington, Idaho Program where she got a majority of her training in rural locations. She is planning to apply for MFM fellowship and looks forward to the exciting future of MFM. Her research interests include rural health and telehealth, health equity, and iron deficiency in pregnancy.
