Allison Akers, MD, IBCLC, is a fourth year Obstetrics and Gynecology resident at the University of South Florida. She will be continuing her training as an incoming Maternal Fetal Medicine fellow at Vanderbilt Univesity in 2025. Her clinical interests include the intersection of lactation and high risk obstetrics and substance use disorder in pregnancy.
