Maria is a physician from Lima, Peru currently working on research. She served on the front lines during the Covid-19 pandemic before earning her MPH from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Her research interests center on maternal and child health and its intersection with mental health to address disparities among racial and ethnic minority groups. Her goal is to pursue Obstetrics and Gynecology residency in the upcoming years.
