Dr. Sarah Bernstein is a Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist at Massachusetts General Hospital and an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical school. She is the medical director of the outpatient obstetrics practice at Mass General as well as the Obstetrical Director of the Mass General HOPE Clinic (Harnessing support for Opioid and substance use disorders in Pregnancy and Early Childhood) where she is part of a multidisciplinary team that cares for birthing persons with substance use disorders and their infants from conception through early childhood. To compliment this clinical interest, Dr. Bernstein is involved in research and advocacy work focusing on improving the care of birthing persons with substance use disorders.
