Amanda J. Jones, MD, is a PGY-3 resident physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Christiana Care Health Services in Newark, DE. She graduated from the University of Maryland College Park (B.S. Biochemistry) in 2017 and from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine (M.D.) in 2022. Her research interests include peripartum complications, preterm birth, and interpretation and management of abnormal fetal heart tracings. She is an author of multiple peer-reviewed publications and book chapters. Her clinical interests include complex surgical obstetrics, obstetric critical care, and medical student and junior resident clinical mentorship. As a teaching resident she is a member of the Sidney Kimmel Medical College (Thomas Jefferson University) Faculty/Resident Honor Roll. She looks forward to pursuing a Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship following completion of her residency training.
