Research Assistant
Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine
With over three years of research experience across multiple institutions such as Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania, and Brown University, Elizabeth (Liz) Soyemi, a third-year AB/MD candidate at Brown University, holds a strong interest studying roots of maternal health disparities both in a clinical and social context. In addition, Liz possesses a budding research interest in understanding the current landscape of menstrual equity in the United States. With her experience, Liz has been able to gain proficiency in qualitative analysis coding, drafting manuscripts and abstracts, leading systematic reviews, and more. Her ultimate aspiration is to become an OB/GYN and improve the health of historically underserved birth-giving people through translational research based in implementation science, policy advisory, and holistic clinical practice.
