Sarah A. Wernimont, MD, PhD

Assistant Professor
University of Minnesota

Dr. Wernimont is currently an Assistant Professor of Maternal-Fetal Medicine in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Women's Health at the University of Minnesota. She completed her MD-PhD as part of the University of Wisconsin Medical Scientist Training Program and her OB-GYN and MFM clinical training at the University of Iowa. Her clinical research interests are directed towards improving care delivery for individuals with perinatal diabetes. Her NIH-funded basic research program is directed towards understanding the impact of overnutrition on placental development.
