Justin S. Brandt is Director of the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Division and Program Director of the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellowship at NYU Langone Health. He completed his internship and residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center and his Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship at the Hospital of University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Brandt has strong clinical interests in providing affirming obstetrical care for people with diverse gender identities, including people with birthing potential who are transgender. He is a dedicated teacher who has received numerous teaching awards and an active clinician researcher whose research has addressed questions related to inclusive research practices, epidimiology of maternal mortality, and evaluative bibliometrics. Dr. Brandt has served on several national committees, including the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine’s Diversity and Inclusion in the Workforce Committee and the Publications Committee.
