Dr. Emery is a Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences of the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He is the Director of the Center for Innovative Fetal Intervention of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) and performs fetal interventions for the Western Pennsylvania geographic region. Dr. Emery is the Treasurer, Past Executive Committee Vice-Chair and Steering Committee Chair of the North American Fetal Therapy Network (NAFTNet), a consortium of 44 medical centers in the United States and Canada that collaborate in research on fetal diseases. Dr. Emery has a sustained interest in fetal diseases and treatment for over 25 years and has participated in multiple collaborative NAFTNet research protocols and authored multiple manuscripts on the subject. He has a specific interest in the prenatal diagnosis and management of fetal aqueductal stenosis.
