Kiki Ogu MD is a second year maternal fetal medicine fellow at Northwestern. Dr. Kiki Ogu completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency training at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine before staying to complete her Maternal Fetal Medicine fellowship training. She has an passion for fetal surgery and plans to complete a second fellowship in fetal surgery. Her other interests include placenta accreta spectrum disorders, global medicine, and health disparities. Her collegiate minor in Poverty, Justice and Human Capabilities served as the impetus for her focus on health equity. She has completed formal education in global health and health disparities in both medical school and residency training via certificates of education. Her thesis is on Aspirin impact on fetal ductal constriction. Her current research efforts focus on maternal mental health for patients undergoing fetal surgery and neonatal outcomes, quality improvement regarding trichomonas screening in pregnancy, obesity in pregnancy, and impact of Aspirin on fetal ductal flow.
