Likhita is a third-year medical student pursuing her MD-MPH through the four-year dual degree program with Baylor College of Medicine and UT Houston. She is excited about applying to a career in OBGYN this year, with special interests in high-risk obstetrics, cancer screening and education, and linking currently and previously incarcerated women to care. She is also highly interested in learning about healthcare delivery in a global setting, and is planning to spend the month of April working with obstetric and gynecologic teams in Guatemala.
