Dr. Lizelle Comfort is a third year Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellow at Northwell Health at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and North Shore University. She completed her medical school and residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center. Her research and career interests include cancer in pregnancy, healthcare disparities, and provider interpretation of intrapartum fetal monitoring. She also works as a clinical research fellow at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory in the Dos Santos lab to study the effects of gestational breast cancer on pregnancy. Her personal interests include travel, independent film, and herpetology.
