Tomohiro Arai is a PhD student at the My FetUZ Fetal Research Center, KU Leuven, Belgium, where his research focuses on understanding the pathophysiology of complex gastroschisis and exploring potential fetal interventions to prevent this severe condition. Arai completed his MD degree and OBGYN residency training in Japan before joining KU Leuven in 2022.
