Originally from Newark, Delaware, Silpa completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Delaware before pursuing a medical degree at SKMC. During medical school, Silpa has actively engaged in community-centered initiatives through roles within organizations like, Refugee Health Partners, NODA (No One Dies Alone), and JeffHOPE, focusing on providing compassionate care to underserved populations. She has also contributed as an editor for the Gibbon Surgical Review, ensuring high-quality publications while mentoring fellow writers. Aspiring to integrate her passion for community medicine, Silpa aims to contribute to initiatives that improve patient care and accessibility for vulnerable populations.
