Dr. Elena D'Alberti, MD obtained her Master's Degree in Medicine and Surgery in 2020 at Sapienza University of Rome, where she subsequently started her training program in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her clinical special interests include all aspects of fetal medicine and ultrasound, fetal cardiology, fetal growth and non-invasive and invasive prenatal diagnosis.
She is currently a Research Fellow at the Nuffield Department of Women's & Reproductive Health (NDWRH), University of Oxford. Her major research interests are the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in fetal cardiology, risk-stratification of pregnancies and prediction of adverse perinatal outcomes by maternal and ultrasonographic predictors. Elena is contextually a first-year PhD student in Human Biology and Medical Genetics at the Division of Molecular Medicine, Sapienza University of Rome. The aim of her PhD program is to deepen her theoretical knowledge in advanced topics of medical genetics particularly applied to non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT) and late amniocentesis.
