Born in Montreal, Canada, I completed my undergraduate medical degree at McGill university followed by residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. I took a hiatus from residency to complete a Masters in Health Policy, Planning and Financing at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and the London School of Economics. Currently, I'm completing a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Toronto.
