I am Dr. Vivek Katukuri, one of the MFM attendings at University of New Mexico. While I was a fellow at UNM, I developed a keen interest in the pathophysiology of preeclampsia and in my quest for a 'cure', I along with my mentor decided to investigate the role of biomarkers in the clinical presentation of preeclampsia. Also during fellowship, I worked on various other projects including fMRI changes in rat model of chorioamnionitis. My other interests include ongoing work on quality and safety and I am incharge of M&M for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UNM.
