Dr. Lantigua Martinez is a current second year Maternal Fetal Medicine fellow at NYU Langone in New York, NY. She hails from Carolina, Puerto Rico. She completed her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience at Brown University and received her medical degree from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons (VP&S). While in medical school, she received the Albert B. Knapp scholarship for highest scholarship at VP&S and was earned the National Medical Fellowship’s Aura E. Severinghaus Scholar for superior academic achievement. She was also elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha and Gold Humanism Honor Society. She completed her residency at NYU Langone, where she served as administrative chief in her last year.
At NYU, she has earned multiple teaching awards and serves as a mentor to residents interested in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
