Medical Student
Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, University of Kentucky
Noor Ali is a third-year medical student at the University of Kentucky, where she aspires to pursue a career in Obstetrics and Gynecology. With a strong health and social sciences foundation, she graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Health, Society, and Populations, complemented by a minor in Islamic Studies at the University of Kentucky. Her academic journey continued at Vanderbilt School of Medicine, where she earned a Master's in Public Health with an emphasis on global health.
Born and raised in Eastern Kentucky, Noor's experiences in the region have profoundly shaped her perspective on obstetric care. These experiences have fueled her commitment to improving care not only in Kentucky but also in underserved areas around the world. On Thursday, you can visit her and her poster, "The Triple Threat of Socioeconomic Insecurity: Housing, Financial, and Food Insecurity Association with Postpartum Depression!"
Noor believes that bridging gaps in obstetric care—locally or globally—can transform lives and promote equity across diverse populations.
As she prepares to apply for residency, Noor is enthusiastic about joining a program that values innovation, collaboration, and a patient-centered approach to women's health.
