Allison Chu is a fourth-year medical student at Duke University School of Medicine, where she is part of the Primary Care Leadership Track and the Margolis Scholars in Medicine and Health Policy Program. Originally from Los Angeles, California, she completed her B.S. in Psychology at Carnegie Mellon University in 2019 and earned an M.S. in Biomedical Sciences at Duke University in 2020. Her academic and research interests focus on understanding how human behavior, policy, and social and community factors influence patient well-being. Allison is currently applying to residency programs in Obstetrics and Gynecology and aspires to integrate her clinical training with a commitment to driving systemic change in healthcare delivery and policy.
