Anne-Sophie Lafortune is a fourth-year medical student currently pursuing her degree at Université Laval, Quebec.
Her academic interests include maternal-fetal medicine and advancing tools to improve pregnancy outcomes. These interests led her to become involved in women's health research and to create the first gynecology-obstetrics committee at Université Laval. She is particularly focused on integrating research in clinical practice to address challenges such as preterm birth prediction.
