Yanchen Wang, BMed, MPH, is a PhD candidate at McMaster University's Department of Health Research Methods, Evidence, & Impact, and the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. He earned a medical degree from Nanjing Medical University in China and a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from Tulane University in the United States.
Following this, he worked as a perinatal epidemiologist in the Chinese Neonatal Network at the Children’s Hospital of Fudan University, a National Children's Medical Center in China.
Now, his PhD research focuses on the impact of perinatal interventions on outcomes in extremely preterm births, both in neonates and pregnant people.
