Lauren Walheim, MD is a current second year Maternal Fetal Medicine fellow at Yale School of Medicine. Lauren was born and raised in Philadelphia, then moved to Pittsburgh to attend University of Pittsburgh for her undergraduate degree, to Tampa for her medical education at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine, and finally back to Philadelphia to complete residency at Pennsylvania Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania Health System. She now lives in New Haven, Connecticut with her husband, daughter, and 5 year old puppy while she completes her fellowship at Yale New Haven Hopsital. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hiking, reading, and board games.
