Ayesha Hasan, MD is a board-certified Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist and Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is the Director of the Diabetes in Pregnancy Program and her research focuses on the diangoses, mangement and treatment of pregestational and gestational diabetes.
In addition, Dr. Hasan has established an intravenous iron infusion clinic within the Center for Womens Health at UI Health to decrease barriers that patients and providers experienced in the treatment of iron-deficiency anemia in pregnancy.
