Dr. Corina Schoen, MD is the Chief of Maternal Fetal Medicine and Medicator Director of Perinatal Diagnostics and the Perinatal Transfer Service at UMASS-Baystate in Springfield, MA. She completed residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at UMDNJ- Robert Wood Johnson in New Jersey and then went on to fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA in Maternal-Fetal Medicine. During fellowship she started her first multi-centered randomized clinical trial on labor induction, launching a career in a field of study that impact over a quarter of the U.S. obstetric population. Since then, she has gone on to publish over thirty articles in the field of labor induction, hypertension, and preterm birth. She has a passion for teaching the next generation of obstetricians and will be the Program Director for the new MFM fellowship at Baystate Health.
