Dr. Christina Scifres is a Professor and the Division Director of Maternal Fetal Medicine in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Indiana University School of Medicine. Her clinical and research efforts center on improving outcomes in pregnancies complicated by diabetes and obesity. She is currently leading an NIH-funded multicenter randomized clinical trial comparing standard to intensive glycemic targets in gestational diabetes.
