Stephanie Finoti is a biomedical science student at the University of Cincinnati and the founder of That STEM Girl, a nonprofit dedicated to advancing minority representation in STEM and medicine. Through That STEM Girl, she has impacted over 20,000 students and professionals, emphasizing Representation, Recruitment, and Resources to build a more inclusive healthcare workforce. Through her year as Miss Ohio 2024, she has collaborated with physicians nationwide to create pathways for underrepresented students in medicine, promoting health equity and diversity in the field.
With over five years of experience in patient care and three years in clinical research at hospitals such as Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, and The James Comprehensive Cancer Research Center, Stephanie is committed to bridging systemic gaps in healthcare. She looks forward to continuing her philanthropic work as a physician, paving the way toward a future of health equity.
