Matthew Janssen, MD is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Maternal Fetal Medicine at Pennsylvania Hospital and the University of Pennsylvania. He grew up in Denver, Colorado and loves outdoor activities such as skiing and hiking. He completed undergraduate education at Washington University in St. Louis and then attended medical school at Saint Louis University. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Pennsylvania Hospital in 2020 followed by fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in 2023. His research interests are in prenatal ultrasound and genetic diagnosis and the application of novel ultrasound technologies in obstetrics.
